Are these prices fixed or do they change after the technician arrives?
The prices on this page are the standard rates. Final price is confirmed in writing before work begins on every job. If we find additional work beyond the scope of the booked service - for example, a Level 2 inspection triggered by a cracked liner found during a sweep - we will tell you in writing what it costs before we proceed. No surprises.
Can I stack coupons with published prices?
Yes. The coupon values apply directly against the listed prices. The SWEEP50 coupon takes $50 off the $249 chimney sweep, making your out-of-pocket $199. The ALLVENTS bundle coupon takes $178 off the bundle total, bringing it to $649. Individual service coupons cannot be stacked on top of the bundle price - choose whichever saves you more.
Why do you publish pricing when most competitors do not?
Because we have nothing to hide. The standard practice in this industry is to require a phone call before giving any price, which lets the tech adjust the quote based on what they think you will pay. We set fixed prices, publish them, and the same rate applies to every customer in the Treasure Valley. Boise Chimney Co. charges $299 for a sweep and inspection and states on their website that they do not offer free estimates. Our rate for the same scope is $249.
What is included in the chimney sweep price?
The $249 covers the full sweep - creosote removal from the firebox, smoke chamber, and flue - and a Level 1 NFPA 211 inspection. The inspection and sweep are never sold separately. A chimney swept without an inspection is a fire hazard, and we are not in the business of incomplete work.
Is the dryer vent inspection fee waived if I book cleaning at the same time?
Yes. The $49 inspection fee is waived when cleaning is booked on the same visit. The cleaning already includes a full assessment of duct condition, run length, and airflow at the exterior cap.
