Dryer Cleaner Near Me, Boise and the Treasure Valley
We clean the full duct run from the dryer connection to the exterior cap - not just the lint trap - because that is where the buildup that causes problems actually lives.

What Happens
On Your Visit
Disconnect and Access
We disconnect the dryer, move it from the wall, and detach the flexible transition duct from the wall connection. We inspect the transition duct for damage, kinks, and material type. Plastic flex duct gets flagged because it is not safe for dryer exhaust heat.
Rotary Brush, Full Run
We run a rotating brush through the entire duct from the dryer end, working lint loose from every bend and straight run. A high-powered vacuum captures the debris at the dryer side. For rooftop runs or long horizontal runs, we also brush from the cap end to work any packed bends from both directions.
Cap Inspection and Reconnect
We inspect the exterior cap for lint buildup, bird nests, and proper flap operation. A cap that does not fully open at the start of a cycle is a restriction that cleaning alone does not fix. Everything is reconnected with a proper fitting, and we confirm airflow at the exit before we leave.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Full duct run cleaned from dryer to exterior cap. Lint trap cleared. Airflow confirmed at exit. Fixed price. New customers.
We Do Not Stop
at the Trap.
A lot of companies clean the dryer trap and call it done. The trap is where the loose lint collects, but the fire risk lives in the duct wall: lint that sticks to the ribbed interior of flexible duct, compacts at bends, and builds layer on layer until airflow is seriously restricted. You cannot reach it with a hand or a shop vac. The rotary brush does.
We also look at the duct material and the installation. Flex duct with too many bends, a run that exceeds the length limits in the International Mechanical Code, a cap positioned too close to the ground - these are problems a cleaning visit is the right time to catch.
What does a dryer vent cleaning involve?
We disconnect the dryer and use a rotary brush system with a high-powered vacuum to clean the entire duct run from the dryer connection to the exterior cap. The exterior cap is inspected for debris, bird nests, and proper operation. We also clean the dryer's accessible interior trap area and reconnect the duct with a proper fitting before we leave.
How long does dryer vent cleaning take?
Most residential dryer vent cleanings take 45 to 75 minutes. Longer or more complex duct runs - for example, ducts that go through multiple floors or have extra bends - take more time. We do not rush the job because a partial cleaning is worse than a full one.
Will you move the dryer to clean the vent?
Yes. We disconnect the dryer from the vent connection, move it out from the wall to access the back, and reconnect everything properly before we leave. The reconnection uses a proper fitting, not tape over tape. If the existing flexible transition duct is damaged or the wrong material, we will tell you on the spot.
Is dryer vent cleaning worth it if the dryer still dries?
Partial restriction is common well before a dryer stops working entirely. A duct that is 40 to 50 percent blocked will still dry a load - it will just take longer and run hotter than it should. The extra heat is what creates fire risk over time. If your drying time has increased or your laundry room is warm and humid during a cycle, the duct is restricted. A properly cleaned duct restores the efficiency the dryer was built to deliver.
