Assessment and vacuum connection
We walk through the home to identify every supply and return register, locate the main collection point in your duct system, and connect the truck-mounted vacuum. Suction runs continuously from connection to completion. No vent is opened until the vacuum is pulling. Dust stays in the collection unit, not in the room.
Agitation through every run
A technician moves through every supply and return run with rotary brushes and compressed air tools that knock debris off the duct walls and into the vacuum stream. Register covers come off, get cleaned, and go back on. The air handler cabinet and accessible blower wheel are included - cleaning supply ducts only, without addressing the handler, is an incomplete job.
Final inspection and walkthrough
Before we disconnect the vacuum, we do a final check on each register: airflow restored, cover reinstalled, no debris left at the openings. We walk through the system findings with you: what we found, what we removed, and - if relevant - whether a sanitization treatment makes sense based on what we saw in the ducts.

The biggest problem in the duct cleaning industry is selling cleanings to homes that do not need them. We start every job with an honest look at the system. If the ducts are clean and there is no evidence of contamination, we say so - and we save you the $449.
When cleaning is warranted, the NADCA method means real negative pressure and real agitation - not a leaf blower pushed through the vents. Every supply, every return, and every register cover is done before we leave.
Do you clean both supply and return ducts?
Yes. A proper cleaning covers the entire system: supply ducts (air going to the rooms), return ducts (air going back to the HVAC unit), the air handler or furnace cabinet, blower wheel, and evaporator coil access. Cleaning supply ducts only pushes debris back into the return side and is not a complete job.
Should I be home during the air duct cleaning?
You do not need to be home the entire time, but you should be present at the start so we can walk through the system with you and identify access points and any areas of concern. Most homeowners leave for part of the job and return when we are wrapping up for the final walkthrough.
How long does residential air duct cleaning take?
A standard home with up to 15 vents takes 3 to 4 hours. Larger homes or systems with heavy contamination take longer. We connect the collection vacuum before we open any vent, so the house stays clean throughout the job. You do not need to move furniture - we work around it.
Does air duct cleaning help with allergies or dust in the home?
It depends on what is in the ducts. If there is visible mold, heavy debris, or evidence of rodent activity, cleaning will reduce the material your HVAC system recirculates. If the ducts are relatively clean, the EPA's own guidance notes that cleaning does not show consistent air-quality improvement in average homes. We look first and tell you honestly what we find before recommending cleaning.
